该剧以真实案例为基础，讲述了燕州市人民检察院第二分院反贪局副局长方大庆、公诉处处长夏静茹等人面对复杂而棘手的案件，他们沉着断案、抽丝剥茧，与犯罪分子斗智斗勇。方、夏二人带领的年轻检察官陈晨、于跃龙、周雯雯等人在办案过程中，经历了恋爱、收入、住房等现实问题，经受了生活对他们的磨砺。在办理周祥杀人案中，夏静茹、陈晨发现诸多疑点。最终，公诉释放了已经服刑17年的“凶手”李浩，而真正的杀人凶手周祥一审被判处死刑。在“猎狐2014”专项行动中，方、夏等人成立专案组，他们查到燕州集团董事长金铭山涉嫌刘凯明犯罪一案，金铭山还处处给专案组设置障碍。当得知待自己如亲生女儿的叔叔金铭山正是此案的首脑，夏静茹毅然选择了将其绳之于法。。The best part of any marriage is consummating it.
