随着国产科幻的崛起，基于本人对星际文明、英雄情结的向往，以及观众和市场对于太空未知探索的热情而创作本片。选取了架空现实的漫画科幻题材，故事发生在大麦哲伦星系中的地星，讲述了拥有超能力量的月星狼人族后裔闻人朗俊，在遭遇父亲失踪、叔父背叛后，认识到自己继承家族血脉的真谛，与企图统治地星的叔父决战，从而再见父亲和拯救地星的英雄成长历程。为纪念火影忍者企划20周年，主办方少年JUMP在10月5日和6日在幕张国际展览中心举办了名为『NARUTO to BORUTO THE LIVE 2019』的大型LIVE活动。本次LIVE活动集主题曲演唱、CV现场漫画配音、2.5次元音乐剧《火影忍者晓之音》以及《火影忍者：究极忍者风暴4》游戏试玩于一身。~所有的忍道，在这里汇聚~。With First Time Female Director, Chelsea Peretti wears all the hats.
