苏家人到海滩露营为苏颖儿庆生，苏云州手持水母欲毒杀她。岂料特大台风来袭，二人被卷入海中。苏夫人赶忙求救援队施救，可苏云州竟趁机迫害苏颖儿，自己乘救生艇溜走。最终，苏云州因溺水在医院出现了严重耳鸣。。一个偏远小城的市长，为一块在城郊的地皮做了份计划，自认为能够得到中央政府的批准，并以此作为其政治攀升的资本。他本来计划在那块地上建立一个附有大型停车场的文化运动中心。该计划似乎只有一个反对的声音，来自一个环保人士——学校的语文教师。不久市长爱上了一个女作家，她是典型的知识分子，而市长的女儿开始与那个语文教师的女儿结成好友，使得市长的生活起了波澜，也使他的计划似乎搁浅。。SYNOPSIS Urgently called, the police inspector has arrived in a hotel, and didn't find any crime, but noticed some strangenesses occurring there. (Strugatsky Brothers website) NOTES This is a crime / mystery thriller with surreal and psychedelic science fiction overtones based on a book Inspector Glebsky's Puzzle by the Strugatsky brothers. The screenplay was also written by the brothers and it differs from the book. The less you know about the movie the better starting point you have. The film is based largely on the mystery of what's happening to the people of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. Is everything what it seems? Who's dead or who's not?。
